Cordant’s New App Provides Valuable Data

Cordant Cleaning has developed a bespoke app designed to capture and report on the activities of the contract teams. It also assesses and monitors the cleanliness of vehicles and premises using real time data. The technology is being rolled out across the whole of Cordant Cleaning’s customer base and is part of the company’s commitment to delivering added value to its contracts.

The app can be used on any android mobile or desktop device and provides a simple dashboard to deliver key information at a glance using the traffic light system. It can also be emailed to users who have the ability to drill down into detailed reports. Currently it has three core areas: quality audits, daily reports and periodic cleaning data, all tailored to specific client requirements with further elements planned for the coming months.

The quality audits have a simple questionnaire that is filled in by the onsite team and generates a pass or fail in line with agreed KPIs. Daily Reports are most often used on contracts that are operated out of hours, for example at bus and coach garages, and facilitate a quick and easy way to highlight any  exceptions or noteworthy occurrences at the end of the shift. Finally, the Periodic Cleaning Data provides an auditable trail for all cleaning provided. Supporting documents such as photos and reports can be uploaded too.

Guy Pakenham, Managing Director at Cordant Cleaning, said: “This app ensures that customers can assess how well a contract is performing across the various KPIs using a data led approach rather than just perception. It highlights great performance and also any challenging issues which can be addressed quickly. It provides detailed valuable management information collated by both our staff and the clients which is shared in real time.”
