CORDANT CARE DONATES THOUSANDS OF ITEMS TO UK CHARITIES

Cordant Care, part of the Cordant Group, has donated over 11,000 items of merchandise to nine charities across the UK following a recent company rebrand. Products donated include USB sticks, hand sanitisers, cool bags and fob watches.

WEEECharity in Warrington, who accept donations of waste electricals from local organisations which are then stripped and recycled or refurbished and sent on, received 4,600 USB sticks. The 2gb USB sticks have subsequently been donated to local schools in the Warrington area.

A further 500 hand sanitisers and 100 fob watches were donated to Springhill Hospice in Rochdale which provides palliative care to patients and their families. Over 2,000 lollipops were given to Ronald McDonald House which offers families across the UK a ‘home away from home’ whilst the children undergo medical treatment.

Kelly Kendall, Managing Director, Cordant People,  from Cordant said: “We are proud to have helped some fantastic charities as a result of our rebrand and encourage other organisations who have surplus stock or merchandise to consider doing the same.”
